Why It Matters
CENTEGIX badges have been protecting schools since 2019. From staff adoption to ease of use, our wearable has demonstrated its superiority to app-based panic buttons—now those app makers are scrambling to offer a wearable.
Every. Second. Matters®. Our solution was developed in response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school tragedy and built to address the need for rapid and effective emergency communication. While others have focused on other safety applications, we've continued to develop the wearable badge.
CENTEGIX was the first to display alerts on digital map of the campus and the only to highlight safety assets in proximity of the alert like AEDs, first aid kits and narcan.
From a single school to the nations largest districts, we've proven our ability to scale efficiently across urban, suburban, and rural environments.
Having completed thousands of district-wide deployments, including 4 of the 10 largest school districts in the US, we can install a standard school in a few hours and a large scale district in weeks. Our deployment model is designed to scale up without burdening IT teams or requiring infrastructure overhauls.
600,000+ people wear our badge every day. When staff use the badge to get help for everyday issues, they’re prepared to act immediately in an extreme emergency. When surveyed, 99% of badge users said it was "Easy to use." 98% said having it "helps them feel safe and supported by their district." 96% said the badge empowered them to "rapidly resolve the issue."
CENTEGIX publishes an annual report to share usage information and data trends and with insight into how and why our solution is used. Learn more about how our badges are used every day in our Annual School Safety Trends Report

Why It Matters
LoRaWAN is a powerful technology—what matters is how it’s implemented. CENTEGIX provides full security, redundancy, and scalability, where others rely on third-party devices that may have firmware security risks and scalability limitations.
Wire-free strobes are an essential and integrated component of emergency notification. Flashing strobes in every room, hallway and common area, provide an immediate visual notice of the emergency. Especially helpful where intercom announcements aren’t easily heard—gyms, hallways, music rooms.
CENTEGIX strobes are programmed to align to your safety protocols. Staff and students run drills based on your schools' protocols and will know the steps to take based on the strobe's color.
Communication is the first action in emergency response. Announcements activate emergency protocols and detail the appropriate steps to get to safety
Network computers, smartboards, and signage provide guidance on your school’s Lockdown protocols.
Roughly half of emergency incidents at schools take place outside the classroom. Staff can initiate alerts from the playgrounds, athletic fields, parking lots, and other common sites for emergencies. CENTEGIX critical incident mapping shows responders exactly where help is needed.
A device that must be recharged is vulnerable to being powerless or connected to its charging device and not accessible when needed. CENTEGIX battery lasts for year+ and does not require charging.
Where other wearables can bring responders to the building, ours shows responders the alert location by floor and room, stairwell, or parking lot. Others will sacrifice location accuracy for affordability by installing fewer locating devices.
Our customers own their maps and can update them. Digital campus maps are required by several states.
When an alert is displayed so are your mapped safety assets with the distance from the alert including AEDs, stop-the-bleed kits, narcan, and fire extinguishers.
